Each
contestant must be at least 16 years of age and cannot have had her 21st
birthday as of August 8, 2008.

Each
Contestant must submit a signed Behavior Contract and Liability Waiver to
compete in the Pageant. You will be given these at the Mother/Daughter
meeting.

Miss
Jennings County cannot hold any other title during her reign.

Contestants
must be unmarried and must never have been married.

Each
contestant must be an Indiana resident, a U.S. Citizen, and represent her
home county. She must live with one of her parents or legal guardians
who must also be an Indiana resident.

Contestants
cannot have had a child or be knowingly pregnant at the time of the county
fair or the State Fair Queen Pageant. If Miss Jennings County 2008
becomes pregnant or convicted of a crime during her reign, she will be
required to relinquish her title.

Each
contestant must be an active member of at least one worthwhile organization
in her community, such as a church group, Girl Scouts, 4-H, etc.
Eligibility is not limited to 4-H membership.

No
professional model is eligible for the Jennings County Fair Queen Pageant or
the Indiana State Fair Queen Pageant. (A professional model is one who
earns her livelihood by modeling.) A contestant who has had training
or schooling in the modeling field, has been paid on occasion for modeling
or works for a fashion board is not considered a professional model.

Any
contestant who has competed in the Indiana State Fair Queen Pageant cannot
compete again.

The
Jennings County Fair Queen Pageant will judge each contestant on the basis
of poise, personality and the ability to converse at a competitive contest.

The
Queen and Miss Congeniality must be willing and able to participate in all
activities of the Jennings County Fair.

The
Queen must be willing to compete at the Indiana
State Fair Queen Pageant.

Tattoos
and piercing are not to be visible.

Appropriate
dress is expected and monitored at all events.

A
contestant cannot have been arrested or convicted of a crime.
